wow.
I remember listening to your music a while back and enjoying it quite a bit, but I must admit I haven't listened in a while, and now I'm blown away. I love those chime samples. wonderful, wonderful work. the entire percussion section is cooked to perfection, and the rest, while not sounding quite as realistic, is still nonetheless amazing. I don't think I've ever heard a better-sounding simulated orchestra; which is to say, if I have, I must have mistaken it for the real thing. I would've liked to have heard some more wind instruments in there too, though... I think I hear some soft, low horns... and of course that louder one (tuba?) accenting the downbeat... but I think some bassoons and oboes (and maybe even some flutes) would have spiced this up quite nicely, however already-spicey they may be.
Overall, though, wonderful arrangement, fantastic composition. I can really feel the tension of the war. I have a feeling I'll have listened to the rest of your new work by the end of the week... you, sir, are highly skilled.
