'tis good

You know, I have a song called "Injured Senses" on my experimental project's upcoming album...

AAaaanyway, this is rather good, though short and slightly repetitive. I love how the bassline fades down when the drums come in, and how the drums cut out to allow the melody line (for lack of a better term) to fade in... All in all, this is very well constructed for such a short track. I'd love to hear this one further developed.

AdmiralConquistador responds:

Yea it's short and repetitive, I just wanted to get a quick little demo out on NG to whet everyone's appetite for the final... don't worry I'm going to develop it :)

I envy you.

Audio on a front page flash? Damn, man. You deserve it, though; this is one kick-ass track. Can't wait to here your church hymns.

MaestroSorrow responds:

hee, if I can just find some really GOOD ones, everything I've found to date, kinda suck... is it too much to ask Santa for a good choir for my own!!!

Thnx for the review ^^.

It's very short...

...but it's good.
I don't know why...
I just can't stop looping it...

MarioMusicMaker3 responds:

i did spend a lot of time on it (25 min) and i thought it was cool to, thankyou for review!

Awesome.

It's as simple as that.

PERVOK responds:

Awesome review.
Simple as that, too ;)

Thanks!

wow

Your tracks are all truely kick-ass. I 5'd them all, and they all deserve it. My only problem with this one is that there are no female voices... I think if you're going to have a crowded restaurant, you need some female voices in there. Even so, the fact didn't occur to me until the second time through, so it's not blatantly obvious.
Musically, the piano is very well-recorded; very professional-sounding. The style is of course nothing new, but still well-done.
I look forward to hearing more from you.

JohnFloyd responds:

Sadly, one of the skills in which I am seriously lacking is being able to speak in a female-sounding voice. This wasn't really a problem until recently, when all of the sudden I had to pretend to be an entire restaurant, all by myself... Anyway, thanks for the comment!

'tis good

I hope the out-of-synch-ish-ness was intentional, because it was enjoyable.
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
Well done.

Intakt responds:

lol
i dont know why it turned out that way.
thanks for thr review

Good

As has been said, you have much potential. Your melodies and harmonies are nice and complex; they're a bit disoriented at times, but these times are few and far between, and the rest certainly makes up for it. I'm liking that snare as well; its subtlety is a really nice element, and I would've liked to have heard more of it, or, come to think of it, I would've liked to have heard more percussion in general. Well-done, though; I'll be paying attention to your future work.

zerojester responds:

I'm glad you like the track. I'll hopefully be releasing more very soon.

'tis good

gotta love those strings.
this song moves along very nicely.
you, sir, have an ear for song progression.
well-done.

GodSpeedIam responds:

Thanks. This is one of my favorites. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

'tis good.

most enjoyable.

Xiro responds:

I haven't really gotten much of my music otu there yet, except to my friends, so I really haven't had much unbiased input.

Thank you much!

'tis good.

most suggestions I'd have are merely of personal preference, but longer would've been good.

AznPB responds:

You think making it longer would've improved it? I suppose so. There's a lot I could've still done to the track. But once I render an .mp3, I'm done! :P I never look at the .flp until a year later to see if I can remake it into something better. ;) Thanks.

Oh Yoshimi, they don't believe me, but you won't let those robots eat me...
